Marilena Pagoni is a Ph.D. Researcher of the Work and Equalities Institute (WEI) based in the Alliance Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester. She holds an MSc in Marketing from the University of Stirling and a BSc in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business. She is also a qualified secondary school teacher and holds a PGCE from the University of Manchester.
Marilena’s current research focuses on workplace discrimination, bullying, and harassment across Europe and the impact of such negative experiences on employee engagement and wellbeing. She is interested in comparing the employee voice mechanisms between European countries and examining how these affect employment relations. Her research utilizes data from the European Working Conditions Survey.
