Welcome to the website of the Global Digital Human Rights Network. We are excited to have you here!
We are researchers exploring the theoretical and practical challenges posed by the online context to the protection of human rights. We are interested in the role of national governments and private online companies. We are trying to find out whether private Internet companies provide comparable protection of human rights online in comparison with judicial institutions. We are examining the potential role of artificial intelligence. Our aim is to propose a comprehensive system of human rights protection online in the form of policy suggestions for private assessment of online content. Please have a look at our research and education materials as well as our announced activities.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Stay in touch!
